Clippings in Private Browsing Windows

Allowing Clippings in Private Browsing Windows

By default, Clippings won't run in Private Browsing windows. To allow Clippings to run in Private Browsing windows, follow these steps:

  1. Click the Firefox menu and select Add-ons and Themes.
  2. Look for Clippings in the list of installed extensions, then click the … button and select Manage.
  3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page. Under Run in Private Windows, click Allow.

Note: The changes to the "Run in Private Windows" setting will be applied immediately if you're using Clippings 6.4 or newer. On older versions of Clippings, Firefox needs to be restarted.
